The usual problem
Shared clinics and pharmacies have fixed costs that every partner pays for and revenue that may come from different partners. Without a shared record, it is hard to agree on what each partner earned.
- Rent, nurses, and reception staff paid from one partner's account
- Equipment bought by one partner and not recorded
- Stock purchases and sales tracked in separate files
How Sharaketna helps
- One ledger for shared revenue and costs
- Each partner's profit-share percentage set once
- Invoices and receipts attached to each entry
- A monthly sheet that partners review and approve
- Reports by category, so you see where the money goes
A typical set-up
| Revenue categories | Expense categories |
|---|---|
| Consultations | Rent and building fees |
| Procedures | Nursing and reception salaries |
| Pharmacy sales | Medical supplies and stock |
| Insurance payments | Equipment and maintenance |
| Licences and professional fees |
Questions and answers
Does Sharaketna store patient information?
No, and it should not. Record only money: revenue totals, expenses, and categories. Keep patient records in your medical system.
Can partners have different profit shares?
Yes. Set each owner's percentage, for example 40%, 35%, and 25%. Reports apply those percentages to the net profit.
Can the clinic's accountant enter the numbers?
Yes. Add the accountant as a Worker. Partners review the sheet before it is completed.
